What a day! You're just coming close to the end of your call at this local 120 bed community hospital
when suddenly your pager goes off and you hear:

"...A young adult male is being brought to the emergency department, with a penetrating injury in the right chest. The 911 operator reported that the patient's wife stabbed him with a large butcher knife. The ambulance response time was just four minutes and they're on their way. The patient is oriented, alert and responsive; ETA is about five minutes..."

You pick up your phone and call the Emerg front desk.... who patch you through to the Ambulance, who report more on the patient.
